Cookie\u00a0et Simon Lacouture battent ici un jazz qui ne reprend jamais son souffle, et qui donne le rythme \u00e0 cette danse d\u00e9brid\u00e9e, transgressive, grima\u00e7ante, qui galvanise. La danseuse-chor\u00e9graphe a recr\u00e9\u00e9 une pi\u00e8ce fantasque, datant d\u2019une dizaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es et sortie d\u2019un simple dessin. Pieds ancr\u00e9s dans le sol, elle tient en continu un roulement de bassin carnavalesque, pendant que buste, bras et visage jouent tous les masques, toutes les m\u00e9tamorphoses les plus burlesques, m\u00ealant la beaut\u00e9 et la laideur, le sens et le non-sens. Marlene Monteiro Freitas est partout, elle est tout, et \u00e7a l\u2019amuse. D\u00e9filent ainsi sorci\u00e8res, animales, cannibales, vibrations, explosions. Hybridations r\u00e9alistes qui font lever des \u00e9motions brutes. Chor\u00e9graphies d\u2019un visage qui fascine.
