Sortir de soi pour se regarder \u00eatre hors de soi. Dans une exploration quasi-anatomique, Ruth Childs fait exploser les \u00e9motions pour en d\u00e9gager les impressions sur les visages, les contorsions des gestes, les d\u00e9formations des muscles. Exit les col\u00e8re, violence, peur ou douleur, <em>Blast!<\/em> expose le corps <em>insens\u00e9<\/em>, qui nous r\u00e9pulse et fascine \u00e0 la fois. Elle collecte des mots en d\u00e9cortiquant des histoires terribles, les met en voix sur les compositions rythmiques de St\u00e9phane Vecchione qui font danser sa silhouette noire. Une \u00e9pure. Un dessin de Michaux. <em>Fantasia<\/em> avait d\u00e9construit les mouvements de son corps, plongeant dans les couches intimes des souvenirs physiques et \u00e9motionnels d\u00e9clench\u00e9s par la musique classique. En 2014, elle fonde l&rsquo;association SCARLETT&rsquo;S pour de\u0301velopper son travail personnel (danse, performance, film et musique) ainsi que le projet de musique SCARLETT&rsquo;S FALL avec Ste\u0301phane Vecchione. Depuis 2015, elle travaille \u00e0 la re-cre\u0301ation des premie\u0300res pie\u0300ces de sa tante, la chore\u0301graphe ame\u0301ricaine Lucinda Childs. Elle a collabor\u00e9 avec plusieurs chor\u00e9graphes et metteur\u00b7euses en sc\u00e8ne de renom international dont Foofwa d\u2019Imobilit\u00e9, La Ribot, Gilles Jobin, Massimo Furlan, Marco Berrettini et Yasmine Hugonnet. Ses cr\u00e9ations r\u00e9centes sont <em>The Goldfish and the Inner Tube<\/em> (2018) et <em>fantasia <\/em>(2019).
